I post weekly auctions for my original artwork on Facebook. Here’s how they work! (Note: Auction winner is expected to make their payment within 24 hours of winning the auction. Some bidders may be eligible for payment arrangements. Please check with me before bidding if you are interested in payment plans.)
1. My Collectors and people on my auction notification list are tagged whenever an auction is posted.
2. The first bid starts the clock. Auction clock is on Pacific Daylight Time schedule.
3. Once 12 hours have passed with no new bids placed, I announce “Going Once”.
4. Any bids placed after “going once” extend the auction. Once bidding dies down and 8 hours pass with no more bids, I announce “going twice.”
5. Any bid placed after “going twice” extend the auction. Once bidding dies down and 4 hours pass without further bids, I announce the artwork SOLD to the last bidder.
