I believe there is an immense value in one-on-one private instruction that cannot be obtained through group painting classes. I want to share the therapeutic experience of art with as many children as possible by helping each one to explore their own unique, creative potential! I’ve just launched my first fundraising campaign to fund the filing fees necessary to start my nonprofit public benefit corporation.
This nonprofit organization will serve children of low-income families throughout Ventura County by providing private art lessons on a sliding-scale fee schedule. While I will also provide some private lessons at full price to children who don’t qualify for reduced-rate or free lessons, my primary focus will be serving children from families who are financially disadvantaged and who would otherwise have no access to private art lessons.
